Chad is a Partner and Senior Advisor with Exequity with over 20 years of consulting experience, and is located in our Orange County, California office. Prior to joining Exequity, Chad was a Principal and member of the leadership group of a large, global consulting firm where he practiced executive compensation for 15 years.
Chad has worked with boards and management at a wide variety of clients ranging from multi-billion dollar public companies to smaller, private organizations. These clients span many industries, including aerospace and defense, engineering, entertainment, gaming, homebuilding, leasing services, manufacturing, restaurants, retail, technology, transportation, and utilities.
The scope of engagements with these organizations covers the spectrum of executive compensation and governance issues commonly faced by corporate boards and management teams. These issues include fundamental items such as peer group selection, market benchmarking, and incentive plan design, as well as technical consulting on compliance, tax, accounting, and disclosure issues.
Chad also has extensive experience with organizational transformation and change, having worked with clients through events such as mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, spin-offs, and going-private transactions. Additionally, Chad regularly assists clients with understanding market trends, perceived best practices, and the policies and viewpoints of relevant shareholders and shareholder advocacy groups.
Chad has spoken at universities and at various industry and client conferences on executive compensation topics. Chad received an M.B.A. from the University of California, Irvine and a B.A. from Brigham Young University.
